I find that's it is the most beautiful aspect of our salvation too, it takes my breath away that God is both just and the justifier of those that deserve nothing but His just wrath, yet because of Christ and His work on the cross, we are justified and partakers of the life of God! God was satisfied to crush His Son instead of us and Christ was more than willing, He did it for the joy set before Him! I'm overwhelmed by His amazing grace!
ReplyDeleteAmen Gayane! John always reminds his listeners that justification is understood to mean that the Father views us just as if we never sinned, and just as if we always obeyed, exactly the same way Jesus never sinned and always obeyed, all because He not only died for our sin, but obeyed in every way that we have failed to. Amazing!
